Track number not picked up from uPnP source

Hi I have music on a D-link DNS-320L NAS set up as a uPnP server. I have Neutron Player on an iPad. When I scan the NAS, all of the tracks show a track number of 0 when I long press the track. This means the tracks are in a random order within an album. Other uPnP players get the order correct, so the fault cannot be with the files. I've verified that the files have the correct track number in the id3 tags.
