External SD Card Crashes

About half the time when I start the player my external SD card crashed and I have to restart my Galaxy S3 in order for the card to work again. All my music is on the external card. I am using a Sandisc Ultra 64G. The card works perfect in all other situations.

May be the file system of your external SD is half alive? You could back it up to PC, do full reformat, copy files back. Normally it must help.

I followed your suggestion and did a full format on my card. I have been using it this way now for about a month and am happy to say that I have no more trouble. Thanks
