User Interface
User Interface
I guess I am a slow learner, but I have had fits trying to specify sources, where the source I want is at the lower levels of a directory tree. Knowing which folders to turn on the red dot for, when to click on the check mark, knowing that the check mark needs to be clicked, all caused me many false starts. One false start was to turn on the red dot for upper level folders as well as the lowest level; I ended up scanning more than was needed. I don't have any good suggestions; changing the interface is probably not something that will happen, but maybe an example in a help file or maybe even a demonstration on a video.
I might say also that it has taken me a while to understand what the X box is for(Return?), what the Check box is for(Apply?), and what the GoBack arrow is for (Undo?).
Also: Media Library>Sources>'Settings'>Tap a Source: Gives a list of 5 options, each with a check box already filled in. This took me a while to understand, since what I am used to is seeing in this context would be instead of check boxes, a set of 5 controls with the one clicked bringing up a confirmation control (execute/cancel).
Also (-Ignore) might be better said with (Restore).
Also: Settings>User Interface>Appearance>'Settings'>: What are: Panel Color, Background Color, Foreground: #L Color, Foreground: #S Color, Foreground: #A Color, (all of the Label Colors, Button Colors, Slider Colors, Spectrum Analyzer Colors) I am not familiar enough with the terminology. Again, maybe screenshots with labels pointing out the different features.

There is nothing to understand - it is simply wrong, and AFAIK will indeed be changed. I am also missing a simple list or description with details of the colors etc. Different themes directly in the app to choose from would be nice as well.

Re: User Interface
Did you find out more about the colours in the meantime ? I'm wondering what the "Foreground: #A" is used for.cawolfe39 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 17, 2016 6:50 pmWhat are: Panel Color, Background Color, Foreground: #L Color, Foreground: #S Color, Foreground: #A Color, (all of the Label Colors, Button Colors, Slider Colors, Spectrum Analyzer Colors) I am not familiar enough with the terminology. Re: User Interface
as to the slider colours : DEF is the boundary, SEL the boundary while the slider is being pulled, PRG the sliding part.
Re: User Interface
The Panel seems to be the part of the main playing screen behind the album art. Set the colour and have a close look between album art and buttons, you see a subdued version of this colour.
EDIT: rather seems to be some background to the area above and below, depends somehow on the dimensions of the album art.

Re: User Interface
List #DEF is the background in the lists, when it is selected #SEL is used. The active item is coloured in Foreground #S, as are the separating lines, as is the song info on the playing now screen when long pressed.
Re: User Interface
Foreground: #S also determines the color of grid lines on spectrum analyzer display
Re: User Interface
Found it : it's the slider in the eq Settings!blaubär wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 4:32 pmDid you find out more about the colours in the meantime ?
