downloading old version

Post by anthell » Tue Mar 17, 2015 7:45 am

I recently updated my player due to google app auto update feature. But since the latest update.. my music has sounded worse. I am having difficulties finding an old version of the software (1.7xxx). all of the old app hosting site only has the evaluation version but i want the paid version since i already bought it.

I too have the same problem. The latest version 1.81.2 sounds really bad compaired to last version, alot quieter & sounds hollow & like reverb is added plus distortion , anyway "whats happend" can this be fixed quick please or please provide the LAST version download please. I have been using this player with Viper4 android for years, just got my new Shure se846's a month ago , now gone backwards in sound with this 1.81.2 version. aaahhhhh. Please Help.

I too have the same problem. The 1.81.2 sound color changes compared to version 1.81.1 and is to much bright.

So i guess many people notice the same problem as i do... some of my recording has gone past being too bright... its more like broken recording with insane noise

Sadly, I am experiencing the same thing on my HTC One M8 Lollipop. It was working fine until I had to redownload Neutron MP after a factory reset for a non-related issue. Whatever version I ended up with (how do I find this info on the player itself?) has a slight harshness to the high end, a sort of "grit". Most annoyingly, stations I've been listening to for months will now occasionally "pop"... a little short single static "tick" and on rare occasions it will stutter for a microsecond. It's very annoying.

The "grit" can give me a headache after a short while, which is a far cry from the other version where I could find myself listening to music for an entire day without realizing it.

Until this version I could not stop myself from telling anyone who would listen about how good this app sounded. I hope the developer can find his way back to the sweet sounding version and rethink whatever it was that got coded since then.

Sounds the latest version 1.82.0 better than 1.81.2?

I have the same experience. 1.82.1 sounds pretty bad. I am very happy that I did have a backup with 1.81.2 which I have quickly applied.
Richy- I have no experience with 1.82.0

Version 1.81.1 is the latest which sounds well. Since the update to 1.81.2 my music has sounded worse with Neutron on a HTC One (M8) and is not acceptable for my ears. Please dmitrykos, a reply or better a fix was very helpful!

I have fixed my problem and I am back on 1.82.1
My problem was that I am using the neon version. Then I got automatically through google play the new version, but as I assume not the neon version.
Reappling the neon version has made the bad sound.

So I have deleted neutronmp on my device and have freshly installed 1.82.1 Neon and sound is again as it should be.
