You could try checking out Neutron UI -> Settings -> Power Saver mode. It provides less load on CPU due to absence of dynamically moving UI elements, has no milliseconds timer which is replaced with smaller left/done timers that allowed to increase font size of tags.

It may be true if you are listening by album/artist basis only, that happens quite rarely. Usually many just enqueue music, or listen Songs group with Shuffle mode switched on. Thus, list entries must have artist/album information along with title.
In general, SGSII display is quite small for comfortable in-car usage. If you look at built-in card multimedia systems, their display size is around Galaxy Note size or bigger.

Thanks for reply!
I changed to power saver mode, and am still seeing milliseconds in album song lists. Did I miss something?
FWIW, 100% of time I will use album or artist. This isn't going to change. BTW, I absolutely LOVE the switch you have to hide contributing artists... makes artist mode much better than other players!!!
As far as the car, I'm just comparing Neutron to PowerAmp. It works for me, Neutron doesn't. Another thing, I can't come close to reading the text on the equalizer page (any time, not just in car), even with reading glasses. The only way I know what it says is to remember the location of buttons. Pretty is nice, but if you can't read it ... Neutron needs to spend some serious time on UI functionality!!

It is corrected for 1.60 version already. So, in case song has < 1 hour of duration you will see MM:SS format. The title of the song thus can be longer by +30 pixels due to saved space.

Do you mean you can't read labels of the sliders, e.g. Low-Band, Gain, dB; Mid-Band, Gain, dB and etc? Increasing font is problematic there because text will overlap either slider's grip or panel above.
