LOL it doesnt matter because the EQ will sound different in every headphones depending on their specs
You must tailor the EQ depending on your headphones and DAP (being the later less important as any good DAP should have a neutral sound).
Yes, that right.
But then the users that want to change the music probably change it so much that the difference between the headphones doesn't matter.
What a music player could do to support this would be to allow several equalizer presets to be used simultaneously by adding up their settings. Then the user could define presets for equalizing the hardware and presets for modifying the music.

Dumb question here... I love this app, but sometimes i find the UI confusing. I have tweked 3 profiles in the EQ management, but I can't seem to be able to toggle between them. How do you do it? Thanks!

I do it this way : I enable "EQ Presets" in Settings > User Interface > Panel: Top, then I can access and choose the settings via the top panel.

Or you can invoke Settings > Equalizer Presets directly - long press will open a preset for editing, tapping will aktivate it.

And then of course you have to activate the equalizer on the eq screen

Thanks everyone... The thing is I do not have any circle to the right of each of the presets to toggle on and off! It seemed weird to me, but now that I see your screenshots...What sorcery is this???

Well, if this isn't an expired trial version, I don't know what it is ... could you give us a screenshot of Settings > Help > Account ?

And tell us more about when and where you bought Neutron, and perhaps details about the device and its operating system ?

I had the trial, and then purchased the full version. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this? Not being able to use the EQ properly really hurts... I have several headphones and this feature is crucial.

Solved it. You have to turn EQ off, then change preset, and then turn EQ back on. Weird...

Okay, good to see you can now fully use Neutron !
Perhaps your trial had already expired when you bought Neutron ?
Maybe the transition from trial expired to fully bought was the culprit.
