Neutron on pc
Neutron on pc
No doubt that neutron is the best music player ever created but is limited to mibile platforms only. It would be a great idea if neutron could also come to pc platform also.

Neutron has recently been released on Windows 10 as UWP app via Microsoft Store: http://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9nb ... ocid=badge
Re: Neutron on pc
I have used Neutron MP for awhile now on my phone and it is excellent. I decided that now it was available for Windows 10 I would give it a try but sadly it was not able to fully scan all my music folders, I restarted the computer after an hour but now the interface freezes and shows only part of the options. I really hope you can fix this. Here is a screenshot of the frozen screen

Re: Neutron on pc
That's my first new release on windows - does anybody know how long it typically takes until the new versions arrive in the microsoft store ?dmitrykos wrote: ↑Fri Feb 14, 2014 7:22 pm2.12.0:
* Support for output of all contents to DSD (to activate: Audio Hardware - DSD, DSD over PCM - All to DSD, output device must support DSD64):
- +6 dB headroom for EQ;
- higher processing precision due to Oversampling.
* New Dynamic/Auto-start Queue behavior: if playback active and track from another tracks list is enqueued, it will start playing and once finished the playback will switch back to the previous list.
* Autoconvert between BW and Q when changing filter setup.
* Improved:
- performance of DST decoding;
- guessing metadata from the filename when album/artist info is present in metadata already;
- Audio Hardware -> Audio Focus sub-settings not persistent;
- stretched/compressed album-art in widget/notification.
Currently I've got version 2.11.2.0

Re: Neutron on pc
hello. sorry to dredge up an old thread. after a deep search, this seems to be the most appropriate place for my question.
long time user of NMP on Android. love it, know its quirks. just installed the Windows version on my W10 w Topping USB DAC for encoding. NMP sees it just fine, but the options for DSD are very limited. it seems to be either ON or OFF as there is no 'Native' option like w Android.
what am i missing here?

Re: Neutron on pc
Have a look here : native DSD support had been added to certain devices - feel free to ask neutronmp@gmail.com whther for Windows this would have to be specially implemented
