Link to repository or instruction please
I am using an Android phone for listening to music while I travel. My main source for my collection is from J. River. What I have learned is that there isn't a way to use playlists synced to the phone from J. River and that it may be Android dependent. If there is a work around please respond with a link.
Thus far I have the tracks in "Recently Added" arranged based on time and numbered which lists the tracks exactly as they were synced to the phone. I have added a playlist in Neutron that matches the name of one of the playlist from J. River. I would now like to move multiple tracks from the list of tracks in "Recently Added' to the playlist I created.
Is there a repository for tasks or can someone explain how this is done?
Thanks
KP

Neutron has three screens : the main playing screen, the equalizer screen, and the screen where lists are shown. Depending on whether your music files have metadata ( so called "tags" ) and how they are organized in the directory structure of your device you can show lists of artists / albums / songs, albums, songs, folders, genres etc.
Once you have opened a list you can play it from the list screen, if you resume playing a list then a button is shown to continue where you left off.
If you long press on a track in a list then a menue appears and you can add the track to an existing playlist.
Or you can create a new playlist and add the track to that.
Long pressing on a file not only allows you to add it to a playlist but also shows information about its place in the directory and its tags.

I’ll say again, 4PDA has an extensive write up of all player settings:

Thanks for your time but I still don't have a specific answer to my question. How do I select the tracks from the "Recently Added" list of tracks and add them to a new playlist?

If you browse in chrome or Microsoft edge, auto translate is your friend.
Re: Link to repository or instruction please
You should be able to long press (press and hold) on songs in any playlist (or album's song list) and select add to playlist from the menu that appears.
There's also a "toggle multiselection" in the same menu, so you can add more than one at a time.

"Recently Added" is a playlist. A playlist is a list. In a list you can select tracks for insert into a playlist. As described in previous posts.
