Bits: 32-bit fp

I get sometimes "32-bit" output, sometimes "32-bit fp", what does the "fp" mean?

I get sometimes "32-bit" output, sometimes "32-bit fp", what does the "fp" mean?

"fp" stands for "floating point" and is used when you switch to 32-bit-output in Settings > Audio Hardware

On my phone, with the "32-bit output" on or off, I always get "32-bit fp".
The "fp" disappears with "Direct USB access".
