Neutron playlist erased after upgrade to version 2.10.0
Neutron playlist erased after upgrade to version 2.10.0
Hi folks,
Using Neutron on iPhone X running iOS 12.3.1 , I did update Neutron to version 2.10.0 in June 4th 2019 and what happened after ?
In my surprise, all playlist was erased and contain zero track inside !!!!
Is there any issues on this version or something goes wrong with my phone ?
Please advise,
Tahir

Do they still exist , but are empty? Or have they vanished completely ?
I'm no playlist expert - did they reside in the file system ? Or in neutrons internal database ?

You are right, Playlist exit but Neutron show it up as empty files
Just to make sure, actually I launch Apple Music or CS Music and they still able to see my playlist

So they are file based. In which directory ? Probably not in Neutron's ?
And are they empty when you open them withe the other music players ?

Perhaps a refresh on sources would do the trick ?
Or a long press on sources and then a scan ?
If they are file-based and independend from Neutron - Perhaps you'll have to delete them from neutron and reimport ?

Re: Neutron playlist erased after upgrade to version 2.10.0
Of course, I can see all my playlist when I use other Music Player
I do not know if it is file based or not
The only thing I see are :
- I can found all file in Folder/all
- When I go to detail it say "Folder: iTunes/all"
I try to rescan the Sources but it didn't solve the issue
by the way I appear two sources :
#1 /Documents
#2 iTunes/all

Re: Neutron playlist erased after upgrade to version 2.10.0
Well, as I said, I'm no expert. If I had the problem I now would first remove the playlists from neutron, then add them again. If that didn't help I'd uninstall and reinstall neutron . Of course before all that I'd do a backup.
Re: Neutron playlist erased after upgrade to version 2.10.0
I deleted all sources then, reimport automaticaly playlist from other Music Player
but it doesn't solve the problem

No trouble, I appreciate your help ... I know we try to understand the issue and give a hand each other
For now, I removed Neutron and re-install it ... after importing all media files from the phone, I check the playlist and it is still contain playlist name but unfortunately with empty file

Re: Neutron playlist erased after upgrade to version 2.10.0
same problem... developer has a change in the playlist for latest update. Probably broke playlist behavior some how.
Hopefully they don’t take too long for new update.
Tried re scanning whole library but nope, empty playlists.
