User Interface

I guess I am a slow learner, but I have had fits trying to specify sources, where the source I want is at the lower levels of a directory tree. Knowing which folders to turn on the red dot for, when to click on the check mark, knowing that the check mark needs to be clicked, all caused me many false starts. One false start was to turn on the red dot for upper level folders as well as the lowest level; I ended up scanning more than was needed. I don't have any good suggestions; changing the interface is probably not something that will happen, but maybe an example in a help file or maybe even a demonstration on a video.
I might say also that it has taken me a while to understand what the X box is for(Return?), what the Check box is for(Apply?), and what the GoBack arrow is for (Undo?).
Also: Media Library>Sources>'Settings'>Tap a Source: Gives a list of 5 options, each with a check box already filled in. This took me a while to understand, since what I am used to is seeing in this context would be instead of check boxes, a set of 5 controls with the one clicked bringing up a confirmation control (execute/cancel).
Also (-Ignore) might be better said with (Restore).
Also: Settings>User Interface>Appearance>'Settings'>: What are: Panel Color, Background Color, Foreground: #L Color, Foreground: #S Color, Foreground: #A Color, (all of the Label Colors, Button Colors, Slider Colors, Spectrum Analyzer Colors) I am not familiar enough with the terminology. Again, maybe screenshots with labels pointing out the different features.
