compressor/limiter for bass only?

I'm using Neutron to play mp3s via Bluetooth into my car stereo. The quality is very good and I'm pleased except for one thing.

The player is set to a random playlist, and I've noticed the bass levels of each song vary enormously. Some dont have enough and then some have so much bass the speakers rattle. I have to constantly reach for the bass control on the car stereo.

I have used a utility called mp3gain to overall normalize the perceived volume of the tracks, and it did a fine job, most of the mp3s are right around the same overall loudness and peak. But not the bass frequencies.

Is there anything in Neutron where I could set up a limiter/compressor that would only effect a certain frequency range?

Or does anyone know of an app that does this that I could use in conjunction with Neutron?
