Loss of control on MXQ

Hello, I'm a newbie.
I have Neutron (paid version) installed on an MXQ android V:4.4.2 box attached to a TV. I am streaming audio from 'Serviio' on my Linux box.
The app works great except for a major problem - probably of my own making.

I browse to a Serviio folder containing the music I want to play, select it and am delivered into a screen which allows me to play all the music in that folder BUT nothing I do allows me to navigate back to the list of folders. I have found several ways to get back to the Android home screen but if I reselect Neutron, I'm delivered into that exact same screen. The only way I've found to get some control is to go into setup/apps/Neutron/ClearData, but then ultimately I finish up at the same screen.
