Hello Guys,
I just updated my Neutron player(Neon version[Google Play]) by downloading the apk from neutronmp.com. The update installed and I have Neutron version 1.80.0. Before the update my iTunes m4a files played at 32 bits but now they play at 16 bits only.
Can you please tell why has the m4a output bitrate dropped?
Help.. iTunes is the only way for me to purchase online good quality music in my country.
M4A files playing at lower bitrate.

Re: M4A files playing at lower bitrate.
The output bitrate didn't drop, it just wasn't completely accurate before.
From the patch notes:
"Display source bit depth instead of conversion result (example: 24-bit AIFF PCM)"

Does the update also apply to mp3 files, cause mp3 file show 64 bit instead of their original 16 bit?niket.play wrote:Thanks for clarifying. I thought something went wrong.thegambl3r wrote:The output bitrate didn't drop, it just wasn't completely accurate before.

I think that's a glitch. You can see the true value by going to audio hardware in settings.
