Can you support lyric with encode gbk?
Or can you support section repeat?

While waiting you can convert them yourself also in the meantime. I wonder if this one works for you?

I have not tested it but I believe from a forum I found it can work well and batch convert.

PS I am not responsible if it does not work out! Back-up first.

I know how to convert. But I use an application that support section repeat, and it doesn't support lyric with encode utf8.....

Yes but I mean after you make the gbk file THEN convert to utf8 for Neutron so Neutron can play it.

Or am I missing something?

btw section repeat - I was the "beta-tester" for lyrics for Neutron 2 years ago and Neutron was able to play, in the end, all my lyrics files (about 600 LRC files from memory) including lines with multiple time stamps - is this what you mean?

Sorry, I don't understand.

Step 1 - you have a gbk file
Step 2 - you use "application" to edit the file for "repeating sections".
Step 3 - you save the gbk file
Step 4 - you convert the file to utf8
Step 5 - you rename the file to .lrc
Step 6 - you put the file on your Android device
Step 7 - Neutron can play the lyric

Is this wrong?

From wikipedia - UTF-8 can encode any Unicode character. Files in different scripts can be displayed correctly without having to choose the correct code page or font. For instance Chinese and Arabic can be supported (in the same text) without special codes inserted or manual settings to switch the encoding.

No, the "application" is also a player that support "A-B repeat". It only needs one button and works like that :
Step 1 - I play the music
Step 2 - I press the button to mark present point as point A. eg: Point A is 00:15.22
Step 3 - I press the button to mark present point as point B. eg: Point B is 01:20.32.
Step 4 - The "application" repeat the section from point A to point B util I stop it.

I use this function to learn foreign songs. Neutron doesn't support this function, so I use another application, and it doesn't support lyric with encode utf8.

I get it!

Does the other application use .lrc as the extension? If it doesn't maybe you can have 01 - song.lrc and 01 - song.gbk for example and then it would work with both?

Otherwise you could use xplore by lonelycat games app to copy the music files you wish to learn to another directory just for the other app ?

I know it isn't the best solution...

I am not the developer but I know someone else just recently asked for korean fonts support as well.

The work-around should temporarily solve the main question in this thread.
