I have been having a problem with noise on NP. Say I have a song playing (with equalizer) and it sounds great. A new song starts and it is grossly distorted, even at very low volume. I turn off equalizer and turn it back on again, and it sounds great again.

Please help! I have already reinstalled many times, but it is always the same. This is on i-9300 4.1.2 stock. Rooted but only thing I changed so far was the h/w headphone output volume.

Have you tried steps from FAQ for the following question?

Q: On each track change the sound becomes overloaded (too loud) and then becomes normal, is it a bug?
