The last expire I had was with 1.65, right after updating it. So far, no expire with 1.66 or 1.66.1. I turned off the Service mode to see what would happen. After half a day, it has not expired. It would be helpful if we could input gain or eq settings with numbers and not just the sliders. I sometimes find it hard to move back the sliders to the same spot. UPDATE. Unfortunately, it did expire after a few days running in Service mode. When I closed and started it again, it expired again after a few minutes. I then killed the app and then restarted. UPDATE. I reinstalled the app, but it still expired. I updated the CM9 rom to the latest version. In the process, I wiped the system partition and the dalvik cache.
