Re: Help needed: S/PDIF output problem
Sadly everything remains the same. Only 44.1 kHz output, also with 192 kHz files.

Re: Help needed: S/PDIF output problem
You mean the curved arrow at the bottom? I have just pressed it and it changed a lot of the settings. Will try it later – the SD card is currently in use for copying everything to another one.

Re: Help needed: S/PDIF output problem
Is this a reset to the factory values? I can't find a Default-Button in Audio Hardware (or elsewhere).

Help needed: S/PDIF output problem
Hi Communitiy My Christmas present to myself is the FiiO M11S. My first attempt to try it out was via coaxial S/PDIF – but I got no sound. USB was fine, and it showed great sound quality, an unexpected step up from the M11 Pro, particularly considering the digital signal. I tried many settings chang...

Re: EQ curve varies depending on sampling rate
Or better still : don't use peak eq near the nyquist frequency. Or yet better : always use the same sampling rate and optimize the filters for that. If you need filters that are that complicated. The very best in your case would probably be not to use the Neutron eq at all but to use another eq aft...

Re: EQ curve varies depending on sampling rate
Ha ! Reproduced ! spec-fol-2.JPG I had forgotten to activate Audio Hardware > Follow Source Frequency ! See how the blue curve's right slope is steeper with the lower sampling rate – to achieve the 0 dB point before the Nyquist frequency. I guess that's how the EQ algorithm is conceived. With the h...

Re: EQ curve varies depending on sampling rate
Hi, I am not sure what is confusing you guys :) With higher frequency you see far behind 22 kHz and thus the plot's scaling is also changed. As a result plots look different but EQ filters are performing exactly as they should. The plots would look the same if X labels would not change. So here is ...

Re: EQ curve varies depending on sampling rate
Yeah – and ended up with 64 bit (particularly in view of the equalizer, but MP3s also seem to benefit). For portable use (thus playing through its own DAC and headphone output) I have activated «Audiophile» resampling.
