Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

Thanks, I had found the curve already and I agree, it does not have to be visible in the EQ since you can check the curve where you indicated it. Your arguments make perfect sense, thx for the response.

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

The pink noise experiment was not conclusive ;-) I just tried some songs with my manual profile versus the one read from autoeq and I could definately hear the impact and they seemed identical. Really nice that I can now add other profiles to color the music on top of that. I still feel I should be ...

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

I understand, it would be cool to have the option in the eq to see either music style or the combined curve with selecting an option. I would rather see the preset curve to check it was applied, probably just my curiosity.

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

I saw it in the playstore. The only question I have is how to see the eq curve, I assume it is applied before the equaliser ? Which means I need to set the eq off to have only this normalisation on and can tinker with music style in the eq ?

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

The preamp is added to the parametric eq files, example : 'Preamp: -7.2 dB'

So, everything is now available in the parametric text files, hope the work on Neutron is progressing.

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

Cool, that works best (provided the list stays on Git for a long time which is probable). The only parameter missing in the ParametricEQ.txt file is the pre-amp value. I understood from my questions to 'jaakkopasanen' that he intends to add it to the file as well to be complete. I will double check ...

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

I would suggest to contact 'jaakkopasanen' on redit to ask him to create the xml zip file and provide that as a list to select from, I can imagine not all users feel comfortable to mess around with a large text file. Anyway, having the zip in correct format would be a bonus even when neutron does no...

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

I got a response from the AutoEq developer, it is trivial for him to convert and he proposes to contact him so he can expose a zip file with the xml settings for all headphones. There is just a format discussion you need to have on the preamp value in that xml file to be complete. Be aware that the ...

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

You could copy the data and provide the link on your own server, so you can manage any changes. The performance is not an issue, most users will consult it once. You could keep the converted settings instead, benefit is that you can batch convert and keep the results indefinately. Probably tbe exist...

Re: Multiple and additional eq-prests

Ah, you even found the index ;-) Sorry I was a bit more hasty. So, for other users the process to 'neutralize' (pun intended) your headphone and make it sound sooo much better is: 1. find your headphone in the https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/blob/master/results/INDEX.md 2. Select the 'readme...
