Convolution processing
With parametric equalization Neutron is catering to the audio processing savvy audience for music players. Here's another feature that this audience is looking for: convolution. Implementation-wise it's dead simple, just an FIR filter with its kernel open to selection by the user by loading an impul...

Re: More EQ bands / Impulse convolver?
Those are not features for everybody but I'm really looking forward to them as I have complex EQ settings on my computer I'd like to export to Neutron :D You could make the extra bands EQ and / or the convolver hidden in an advanced setting panel or sell a separate advanced version on the market. I'...

More EQ bands / Impulse convolver?
It would be nice to have many more EQ bands at my disposal (I'd like 10 or more) but I understand this is very resource intensive. In the meantime would it be easier to implement an impulse convolver? Just design whatever filter you want on the computer and export as an impulse response file to be u...

[FIXED] Various menu items not responding
Hi, I'm using latest update of Neutron on a CM7 custom ROM LG P990. Since the latest update (and binding EQ and normalizing all my songs) I haven't been able to change EQ parameters by tapping on the numbers next to the sliders to change them in the extended EQ menu. (I'd unbinded the EQ on the song...

Re: Volume control
Another method for fine control I've thought of is that if you drag on the slider, instead of the slider following your finger, it could go up or down in a slower manner, say 5dB of gain change per screen‘s worth or finger travel. Be best if you can drag from anywhere on the preamp bar (not just the...

Re: Volume control
Really? I thought it was just my finger being too blunt. Thanks for the heads-up--preamp slider is not stepped then?

Re: Volume control
Main issue for me with the volume control is that all of them are on a short slider controllable by dragging the slider with a finger only. In theory this offers fine volume control butin practice I find that with the short travel over the full range (+-30dB for preamp, 0-100% for hardware gain) cou...

Re: Re 4-band parametric equalizer (question about low shelf
Yes it would be useful for me to change the high shelf into a peak filter. Actually I think the most flexible way of implementing the para eq would be to let the user to add and delete any number of bands of his own chosen type. This way the user can customize the CPU load to the level his device ca...
