    That seems to be a faulty windows software : https://www.winpcware.com/extension/asp ... rator-aspx

How did you install NMP an Android ?
Does the device have any connection to a windows instance ?
Did you ever copy any NMP-configuration over from a windows installation ?

Does a complete uninstall, removal of NMP directories, reinstall help ?

I don't use Windows pc's.. Only use macs.. Installed NMP via Google Play.

Would a full uninstall-install wipe all my existing playlists as they took a long time to setup?

You should see them in Neutron's "playlists" subdirectory and should be able to save them from there. After the new installation has finished it should be possible to put them back and hit the playlist "Refresh" button, thereby reimporting them.

Of course, I'd only save the playlists that are wanted ... :-)

I did a full reinstall and I'm still getting the rogue playlists being generated.. They all show 255 tracks but are all empty..

Sorry, that eludes me. Strange playlists from outer space :-) ... Document it with a few screenshots and write to the developer, perhaps he has an idea how to analyse this.

Tried a full re-install again.. this time I made new versions of my existing playlist files using a text editor. I then copied them back in after the install... so far had a couple of days with no rogue playlists... no idea why this would work, but fingers crossed..
