Same album art on different albums

Post by Imaris » Fri Jun 07, 2019 4:56 pm

Hi!
Some of my artists have albums with similar names. For each album name, Neutron shows only one album art, no matter the different artists and years. The .jpg's are placed in folders wich contain only their album's tracks.
How can it be fixed? Thanks.

What options have you selected in Settings > Media Library ?

Do the tracks have the album artist tag set ?

Is it in each case the same for all the tracks that you consider to belong to one album ?

Thanks! Just turned on the "Split Album by Album Artist" option, works fine now. I had all the options turned off. Didn't imagine that these options are what I need, I've searched settings related to album art :)

(For other people facing the same problem - I have all tag info in %artist%, %album artist% and %album%, the first two are almost always similar).

Generally an album is defined as the set of tracks with the same "Album Artist" and "Album" tags.
