Hi Tomqwest!

Do any buttons get pressed on UI? Like on very first screen when you are offered to select directories for initial Playlist? Or UI is completely not reacting to your actions?

Best regards,
Dmitry.

Ok, understood. I am a little bit confused about inactive input. Neutron uses straight forward input events delivery into UI core. Need to check your hardware caps again...

Could you please tell which Android OS version your device is using? I guess we are talking about: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LG_Optimus_One and you could be using Android 2.1 then?

Thanks for information! It shall work out of the box actually. Do not know what can be the reason. Code which deals with input is not that sophisticated and only Android APIs used to get input event from your touches. What about latest version 1.14? Doesn't it work for you as well? (I made several adjustments regarding your case).

If you are willing then I could provide version with debug logs enabled and we could check the logs produced by your device (using: ADB LOGCAT or Eclipse from Android SDK). If you do not know anything about Android SDK then may be it is not an option.

Could you please try latest version 1.14-hf. I made modifications to Input sub-system, let's check it out how it works!

I tried to debug problems of MSM 7227 chip and found out that it has really weak 3D engine performance. Although Neutron's UI is not 3D but it still utilizes renderng, so performance is still countable factor. Could you please check out 1.16 version, there is also FPS counter on Main display (lower left corner). Reference FPS value is between 17-21.
