Dalay on resume

I have a problem.
I have installed Neutron on my car Android head unit and it works fine, but !
when I switch off the car, the head unit goes into auto-sleep mode, but when I start the car, there is a delay in the head-unit to load the SD card in which the music is saved.
Because of this delay, when the unit comes back on, Neutron is unable to see the music folder for a couple of seconds, and this means that Neutron can not resume from where it was previously, it reverts back to the first song alphabetically.
I have managed a workaround in which I stop Neutron, before I switch off, and press play after a couple of seconds, and all is good.
I wonder if there is a way to implement a few seconds of delay into Neutron before it either loads, or look for the music folder.
