Hi. I have not hi res option in generic driver (only custom format option). I use Neutron with dx200. Thanks for your help. Bye

I'm also a V20 owner, but I'm currently stuck at 48000 Hz. Could you post what you have done to make it work?Adam XT wrote:I've changed the settings an it seems to have worked on the LG V20 on Android 7.0. As the settings at the top of the audio hardware screen now show higher Bits either 24 or 32 and I can change the frequency to a higher one. But when I unplug my earphones it drops to 16 bit 48khz is that correct? Also with an mp3 track when I view the cover art when its playing it shows 32 bits underneath instead of 16 is that supposed to happen?
When you unplug your headphones, the phones speaker becomes the output device, so what you observe is the expected behaviour. On some devices, you will find an option called something like "HiRes Speaker" within "Generic Driver", but don't expect any improvements in sound quality from activating it. Its main purpose is saving some (actually very little) battery time by ignoring Neutrons internal high quality resampling and sending the audio straight to Android (which, AFAIK, will resample it using its own more basic routines). On some devices, it will result in silence, though, so it is all trial and error.Adam XT wrote:I've changed the settings an it seems to have worked on the LG V20 on Android 7.0.
