"Trial period ended" when offline

I keep getting this message about the trial period having ended when I'm offline or have a spotty connection. I have purchased the full version. I have followed the steps outlined in the message and this continues to happen. If I can't use the app offline it's pretty useless to me. Please fix, or let me know how I can resolve this issue on my device.
