Hi,
I have a Sony Xperia Z3 and the thing I was most excited about was the ability to play 24-bit 96k audio files with Neutron.
In the hardware settings, under frequency it says 48000hz. I believe the Z3 has two 48k sound chips and that's how it gets 96k output, so does this mean that Neutron is only detecting one of those chips and is only outputting 48k?
Also, if I enable 32-bit output in the hardware settings, does that mean all audio is being upscaled to 32 bit? And if I don't enable it, does that mean 24-bit files are only going to be output at 16-bit?
I'd just like to be able to play 24-bit unadulterated at full quality without being upscaled or downscaled.
Neutron MP is my favourite piece of software ever and I'd like to know that I'm getting the most out of it.
I appreciate all you hard work and thanks in advance for your reply

BUMP
1) Are my 24-bit 96k files only being output at 24bit 48k?
2) Do I need to enable 32-bit output to output said files at full resolution? And if I do this are they being upscaled to 32-bit?

Hi,
I would like to raise a topic. My device ZTE Axon 7 have a DAC that support up to 192k. But there are only one option in Audio hardware -> Frequency: 48k. However there are many options from 44,1k till 768k on my iPad. Why? Is it issues of Android or my device?

Hello,
I have the same problem on my Samsung Galaxy S8 (and S7 before).
Neutron only shows 48k (not even 44.1k or anything else) in the Audio Hardware/Frequency tab.
Does it play everything at 48k? Even when the file is 44.1K?
Please any answer from the developers?
Thank you
