One suggestion. {Korean lang. tag problems}

Post by Jung » Mon Feb 27, 2012 8:45 am

Hi.

My name is Jung and I'm Korean.

I bought NeutronMP a week ago. I've chosen this application because the quality of sound is outstanding.

Thank you for developing such a wonderful application.

But there is a problem. Titles of Korean songs don't shows up correctly, instead weird characters fills the space. Not all of them, but about half of them has the problem. I think it's font problem.

I think if you fix this problem, more Korean users will have interests in your application.

My phone is Galuxy Nexus.

Thank you.

Hi Jung!

Could you please contact me by e-mail: neutronmp@gmail.com. I will ask you to e-mail me or upload to my FTP 1 such song with bad tags.

I was testing Korean lang. but used UTF-8 encoding for ID3v2 tags. May be your files have another encoding and Neutron has bug in tag parsing code. I just need one example of music file to fix it. I am of course willing very much to fix it.

By the way, were your files MP3 which had problems with Neutron?

Best regards,
Dmitry.
