Blackberry Z10 headphone jack stopped working

Post by nascarjoe24 » Wed Feb 12, 2014 6:29 pm

Hi, strange problem on my Blackberry Z10 running Neutron. For months I have been plugging in my Z10 to a cassette adapter for my 2006 Toyota playing tunes thru Neutron to my excellent "old" sound system. Starting two weeks ago the adapter stopped working or so I thought. No sound thru adapter, I wrongfully assumed headphone jack on cassette adapter failed. Took me 2 weeks to test using BB Music and it worked. So it is just the Neutron app on my Blackberry Z10 that is not recognizing the headphone jack plugging in. Neutron plays thru the phone speaker, unlike before when it used to kick in when the headphone jack went it but it no longer does. Any ideas, settings? I luv Neutron music quality, sorry Blackberry but basic player doesn't hold a candle to Neutron. Jonesing for my Neutron player back for my 45 minute commute each way... Help me plz!!

UPDATE: After waiting for AT&T to push 10.2.1 yea right maybe 2016 some time... I Autoloaded 10.2.1.2102 restored my latest backup and BAMMM... An awesome BB Z10 with latest of all the great things BB10 offers... And side benefit was Neutron working over the headphone jack again... All is right with the world!!! Got my Zen music back...
