SMB Playback Skipping w/Screen Off

Hi, I'm noticing that when the screen goes off the playback while smb streaming starts to hiccup and freeze.
Everything up to the phone is solid. Under buffering?

Hi Eels,

What device are you running Neutron on? If BB10 then it must be the BB10 audio interruption issue. This is OS deficiency. Neutron starts working better (without interruptions) if you restart BB10 device. If you are on Android try activating: Settings -> Audio Hardware -> CPU Wake Lock.

Thanks, Im on Android, I'll try that later today. I was going through the settings and
I must have skipped over that. It didn't seem like too big of a problem because
I have used Neutron with cifs mount. I'll report back how it goes.

It can be also the case that Android puts WiFi in low-power mode and thus it becomes too slow. Currently Neutron will acquire Wake Lock for streaming audio. It is good that you pointed to the issue because Wake Lock must be acquired for SMB/CIFS connection too (as it is done over WiFi). In next update it will be done and let's see how it goes after that.
