my audio files are in wav 32bit 384hz, in Windows the output is 32 bit but in neutron it tells me 8.24bit, when I activate the iee754 output it tells me 32bit int. Please check again. Is there any other apps that you know can do better? Thx. I don't know about "better", but another possibility would be Firefox with Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express extension. One can use it by downloading mp4 videos and then extract the audio stream without further conversion, e.g. as follow...

If you want good quality you have to get it from a reliable source - the format and bit rate in the actual file tells just an upper limit of the quality that CAN be inside, but nothing more. If "good" means "good mp3" then for most users that can be achieved by ripping an audio CD to 320 kbit/s mp3 ...

Just aware that I can download songs now in either m4a or opus format. Which one is better? That depends on the actual audio codec that is included in the m4a container ( typically but not necessarily aac ) and the quality of the encoding there and the quality of the opus encoding ... my best guess...

No, please don't why back convert ? Each lossy conversion worsen's the quality.
