I got it back. What I did was go to Settings, User Interface, and then I unclicked the "Track NR" (Show track number in front of the track title) box, not b/c I thought this in itself would make a difference but hoping that this would to force an update of the settings for that part of the screen an...

There used to be a very nice info bar under the play button and above the track time bar that showed bitrate, file type and other good stuff. I managed to remove it by clicking on the three vertical dots to the right of the track info bar. How do I get the bitrate bar back? Thanks.
