strange scrobbling implementation

just a minor thing really, as the player as a whole is impressive. Scrobbling behaviour is quite strange. Some tracks appear on last.fm several times even if played only once. Quite often the last track played doesn't appear until later when a new track is played. If you pause a track, it will appea...

Re: support for scrobbling disappeared?

Hi - you fixed this ( I noticed simple last fm scrobbler has been updated with a fix ). thanks. There is still an issue with scrobbling itself -- if you happen to pause a track, the track will be scrobbled twice - it would be nice if it is scrobbled only once :) minor problem, but something you migh...

support for scrobbling disappeared?

Hi, I recently completely removed Neutron, and re-installed, because the widgets had disappeared. Now the menu option to enable scrobbling has disappeared - has support been removed, or is it a bug? I use "simple last.fm scrobbler" and neutron doesn't appear on the list of detected players. Any hints?

Re: gapless not very good at all

sorry, been away for a while + forgot about this issue - I think in most cases gapless is not a huge issue... I can anyway play mp3 gapless albums via another player, sound quality isn't usually a huge issue (most would be DJ mixes anyway that don't matter so much). I noticed that FLAC plays gapless...

Re: gapless not very good at all

hi,

I've been trying out gapless using mixed albums, it's the easiest way to see if it works or not... for example I used Scuba DJ kicks and there's a clear discontinuity between tracks (not only on this, but any album I tried). filed are encoded OK, they play OK on other players.

Re: gapless not very good at all

thanks for the help... Yes, gapless label is displayed. I had crossfeed enabled. I switched that to surround and it doesn't make a difference. Disable both and it still occurs (maybe less obvious, the timing is better, but still pretty noticeable with a glitch). I've now disabled every option possib...

Re: gapless not very good at all

ok, I think I've tried everything. killed every other app running. tried music ripped from various different sources and methods. tried various different settings. the gapless is still seriously rubbish - it works on a few occasions, but most of the time it's way off the mark. Is it only me who noti...

gapless not very good at all

Finally got myself an Android device + on day 1 I realised the native music player was rubbish -- so been trying out the alternatives. On a trial version of this right now, basically I've narrowed down to neutron or poweramp. pros and cons with each - but I was pretty impressed with the sound qualit...
